Exam Invigilator - Rushcliffe School


£9.70 per hour

Rushcliffe is an Outstanding, World Class School, successful in providing a wide range of opportunities for young people, whether academic, sporting or in the arts. Located in West Bridgford it is an extremely high attaining school of over 1600 students with an impressive and ever growing Sixth Form. We have a varied and wide ranging programme of extra-curricular activities and many of our students go on to achieve highly in their chosen field. Our school has a sustained record of high achievement and maintaining high levels of pupil attendance and behaviour is vital in ensuring that our ethos that “everyone should be given the chance to shine brightly” is achieved.

Rushcliffe School is currently a member of the Trent Academies Group but, from 1st October 2018, all Trent Academies Group schools will join Spencer Academies Trust.

We are looking to recruit a small number of Invigilators to join our existing team. If you are well organised, reliable and have great attention to detail we would like to hear from you. A flexible, committed approach and the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative are all essential qualities we are looking for. Full training in the role of an examinations Invigilator will be provided. Please note that the nature of this work is casual and seasonal throughout the year. The main period of exams for which you’ll need to be available is mid-May until the end of June.

The Trent Academies Group is an emerging multi-academy trust, based in Nottingham. Our aim is to support schools and academies in providing outstanding education for their pupils. The Trust currently consists of Rushcliffe School, an outstanding school in West Bridgford and The Farnborough Academy, Clifton and the Arnold Hill Academy, Arnold.

In our Group we work together, share staff, join up expertise, build on each other’s strengths, pool resources and combine facilities, so that everybody, staff and pupils, gets the chance to shine and achieve their best.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, responsible and proactive Midday Supervisor to join our Midday team at Rushcliffe School. The person appointed will supervise students ensuring an acceptable standard of behaviour is maintained, and the dining area is presented in a clean and tidy manner.

It is intended that the role would be based at Rushcliffe School but the diversity of academies within the Group can provide fantastic opportunities for the development of practice and skills.
